Unique London Venues for Your Next Event
The London event venues landscape is full of amazing options but can be daunting, and for any brand planning a signature affair finding the right space is crucial. You want to set the tone, ensure catering is of the highest quality and create a special experience for your guest. With the advent of Instagram, and especially if you are planning an influencer event, the location can make or break the social media impact your event can have.
I’ve sourced the best new and exciting venues in London which are the perfect location for a unique brand or influencer event. They are highly stylised, with gallery walls, ornate arches, exciting wallpapers or unique furnishing – creating a natural call to action for attendees to create mini photo shoots. Don’t forget to check lighting before the big day, get some tasty appetizers in and plan some exciting activities for your guests!
Drink, Shop & Do
Address: 9 Caledonian Rd, Kings Cross, London N1 9DX, UK

Drink, Shop & Do is a favorite among locals looking for a relaxing drinking spot or daytime craft hub. Known for their extensive workshop timetable its the perfect location to pick up a new skill – or even teach one. If you are looking to host a workshop event as a brand this is a great option as they offer different private spaces dependant on your needs and budget. The main space is light and quirky, and the new Wes Anderson inspired bar is difficult to resist Instagraming.
Victorian Bath House

A truly unique venue, this converted space is perfect for a formal evening event for luxury brands or special occasions. The Victorian Bath House oozes extravaganze, and the air of exclusivity is helped by it’s booking only policy.

I’m dying to visit this girly, glamorous and modern kitsch new bar that looks like all your Instagram goals come to life. The mixture of empowering neon sings, millennial pinks and holographic shimmer mean this bar is the perfect venue for a young fashion brand or a business looking to reach a social audience.
Hoxley & Porter
Address: 153 Upper St, Islington, London N1 1RA, UK
Phone: +44 20 7226 1375
Hoxley & Porter is one of the most underrated bars in Angel, if not London, probably owing to the fact that it’s been open since 2013 before everyone was as obsessed with everything having a theme. This is the perfect place for an ornate and retro event thanks to the beautifully patterned wallpapers and ‘orient express’ inspired train-like layout.
Address: 35 Earlham St, London WC2H 9LD, UK
Phone: +44 20 7240 5142
Another new bar mixing glamour with quirkiness, The Escapologist mixes lush decor with the hint fo the mystical occult. Celestial ceilings, gold fixtures, and strange portraits make this a great venue for a fun cocktail party for brands who want to launch a witchy product or host a grown-up Halloween.
Leighton House Museum
Address: 12 Holland Park Rd, Kensington, London W14 8LZ, UK
Phone: +44 20 7602 3316
One of my favorite places in London, the Leighton House Museum isn’t a bar or traditional event space but is available for rent. Gorgeous and eclectic, this is the perfect venue for those looking to boost their cultural credibility to guests.
Address: 30 Wandsworth Rd, Vauxhall, London SW8 2LG, UK

If you’re looking for an elaborate sit-down meal, Brunswick House might be the right choice for you. Known for it’s elegant yet hearty menu and mismatched antique furniture, there are several differently styled rooms making this a good option for a larger event or extravagant evening soiree.
Address: 34 Charlotte Rd, London EC2A 3PB, UK
A bit more casual but by no means less impressive, the Shoreditch Treehouse is a private event space that is cosy while still delivering some rustic hipster charm in a top location. This venue would be perfect for an intimate workshop, conference or even for some corporate training.
The Bedouin Tent at St Ethelburgas
Address: 78 Bishopsgate, London EC2N 4AG, UK
Phone: +44 20 7496 1610
Despite living closeby for years, I had no idea that this unique venue was even there. Cosy and with cultural kudos, theBedouinn Tent is perfect for a warm and inviting evening event, such as a book launch or mini health retreat.
Near & Far
Address: Level 6, Peckham Levels, 95A Rye Lane, Peckham SE15 4ST, United Kingdom
Phone: +44 7554 289251
This new venue is part of the much loved Peckham levels and hits the millennial checklist perfectly with pinks, palms and mid-century furniture. While it’s a bit difficult to host an event south of the river, Near & Far is beautiful enough to convince your guests to make the trip.
Wilton’s Music Hall
Address: 1 Graces Alley, Whitechapel, London E1 8JB, UK
Phone: +44 20 7702 2789
Everyone who has been to Wilton’s Music Hall is rightfully obsessed, so why not introduce this East London gem to your guest list? The epitome of shabby chic, the old theatre is perfect for formal events, parties, and weddings.
God’s Own Junkyard
Address: Unit 12, Ravenswood Industrial Estate, Shernhall St, Walthamstow, London E17 9HQ, UK
Phone: +44 20 8521 8066
As someone obsessed with neon, God’s Own Junkyard is one of my favourite places in London and an overlooked venue option. This family-run business has hosted different events from weekend yoga to wedding receptions in the past and can be spotted in the background of Vogue fashion shoots and mainstream marketing campaigns. The curated exhibit is always slightly shifting but has millions of special corners and angles, and everyone has a favourite sign.
Address: Silk St, London EC2Y 8DS, UK
Phone: +44 20 7638 4141
Open to the general public one Sunday a month, the Barbican Conservatory is another underappreciated local mainstay. It’s definitely worth planning ahead to make a trip, but it’s also an exciting option as an event space. Both the big palms and the succulent rooms offer scenic surroundings but it’s definitely the kind of venue where you’ll need to take a hands-on approach to sourcing suppliers, catering, and extra lighting.
The Bridge Coffee House
Address: 15 Kingsland Rd, London E2 8AE, UK
Phone: +44 20 3489 2216
considering how busy and popular Shoreditch is, it’s surprising that The Bridge isn’t overrun constantly. However, due to a low-key online presence and a long-running tenure, like Hoxley & Porter it’s managed to stay under the radar. It makes such an interesting venue because it offers multiple dynamic spaces – there’s the front ornate coffee bar that feels like the local digs of an Italian mobster, the back motor city neon signed rooms and the Turkish parlour upstairs with shabby chic antique armchairs and tables.
